From South Sudan:
“Among the Daloka tribe of the Nubians, the Word of God has been moving swiftly. Many times, Christians have been persecuted, but God has always been faithful to give the believers strength and grace with patience and endurance for the glory of God.
The growth of believers is evident. We watch people love God by loving one another. Sausa, a believer, has given his property for a church building to be constructed. This indicates a great love for and a passion to know God.
The Daloka tribe is one of the unreached people groups listed in the Joshua Project. The majority are Muslims with no Bible in their language. Many times, missionaries have tried to plant a church, but obstacles always come up.
The Daloka thrive in witchcraft. They have several cultural activities which are demonic and evil including having demonic shrines and idol worship. We thank God, however, that there is now a church of Daloka believers who are willing to share the Gospel with their fellow tribal people, having no fear of being rejected.”
Here is a testimony from Neema, a Daloka woman:
“Before I came to the Lord, I was a total drunkard. I would even drink before going out to work in the fields in order to make me strong. What alcohol did to me was terrible. I would run around naked. I was having sex with different men, not caring about my children who would go to sleep hungry. I was so terrible, completely lost in alcohol, drugs, and cigarettes.
My life was controlled by the devil. The devil had stolen my life, and was busy killing me, hoping to destroy me.
Thanks be to God, Jesus came in to my life. Now, I am no longer a drunk, no longer sexually immoral, no more abusing drugs, and no longer a fighting woman. The Lord Jesus Christ has accepted me, cleansed me, and forgiven me! I am now a child of God, and God is my new identity.”
Not only Neema, but many like Neema now have transformed lives, learning the way of God, understanding God deeply, and walking with God in life. Reading Bible stories has been a key as the Word of God is best understood through stories. These stories teach us about ourselves, our relationship to God, the effects of sin, and how we can get out of sin.
Thank you so much for being a part of the work to reach out to the Daloka tribe. Thank you for your financial support, your encouragement, and your prayers. As a team, we work together, having one goal that the Lord would be made known! May the Lamb of God who was slain receive His Glory.
Please keep praying with us that the church will grow more in the knowledge of God. Please pray that the Lord would send out more laborers. Please pray that the Lord would give us boldness to speak forth His Word.

Ps.8:5: “For thou hast made him a little lower than the angels, and hast crowned him with glory and honour.”
Ps.8:6: “Thou madest him to have dominion over the works of thy hands; thou hast put all things under his feet.” Blessings!
