Most people do not understand how sin brings them down until they’re down and nothing else can save them. When we learn about Sodom and Gomorrah, it is our own story.
It is quite interesting to understand that we can be very first to judge Lot–why he went into Sodom and Gomorrah, and why he was willing to give his own daughter to the wicked men of Sodom and Gomorrah even though he hosted the angels of the Lord in his own home.
One of the young people said this:
“I was looking at Sodom and Gomorrah as a very bad country, but I have now understood that the very sin that was holding Sodom and Gomorrah is the very one that has made us refugees today. We hate each other, and therefore, we kill. We hate each other’s marriages, and therefore, we sleep with others’ wives. We have gone to consult the witch doctors. We have chased away many servants of God and rejected them just like people of Sodom and Gomorrah rejected the angels of the Lord who visited Sodom and Gomorrah.
Even though we are young, we want to spread the Gospel to our tribe, the Kaunyaru tribe, because they are lost and they have no knowledge of God. Our parents may chase us away, but we must trust God. We do not want our tribe to perish like the people of Sodom and Gomorrah. We want them to be saved like Lot. Only Jesus Christ can save us. No one else can.”
After sharing this, many people believed in the Lord Jesus Christ. Pray with us that the word of a God may move swiftly and bring many people to Him. It is Jesus Christ alone who can save and not anyone else.
Ps.20:5: “We will [shout in] triumph at your salvation and victory, and in the name of our God we will set up our banners. May the Lord fulfill all your petitions.”
